Mathematical Ideas captures the interest of non-majors who take the Liberal Arts Math course by showing how mathematics plays an important role in everyday life. With a fresh, new focus on math in the workplace, this program shows students how math will play an important role in their future, while encouraging them to understand and embrace the mathematical concepts.

Senior Legal Counsel and/or General Counsel in law departments of major, internationally-oriented companies located in Dallas-Fort Worth area. Experience in M&A, corporate law, commercial transactions, real estate, litigation management, employment law, etc.

Currently I am the principal/owner of Charles D. Miller, P.C., a small law firm in the DFW area specializing in corporate law, commercial transactions, etc.. I act as a general legal adviser to the owners of numerous local small businesses located in the DFW area.

I have also delivered various company-client internal corporate employee training programs in General Law/Contracts/ Contracts Negotiation. This summer I will be providing a 25-hour training program opportunity to employees/managers of China National Petroleum Corporation. .

In addition to being an attorney in private practice, I am a Lecturer at UT-Arlington and teach business law classes to both graduate and undergraduate students. UTA is a major campus within the University of Texas System.

I have been a guest speaker at numerous local organizations/events/events e.g. Denton County Bar Association, Tarrant County Bar Association (Corporate Section), UTA Accounting Department Annual CPE Event, etc.
