Thom Lieb has worked as a writer and editor of books, magazines, newspapers, newsletters and Web sites. He is the author of Editing for Clear Communication, due out in its second edition in July 2001. The companion Web site, Editing for the Web(http://www.towson.edu/~lieb/editing), has been named one of the four best-written sites on the Web by e-write online and has been used as a resource by countless students and professionals around the globe. He holds a master's degree in magazine journalism from Syracuse University and a doctorate in journalism from the University of Maryland.
